Dr. Guglielmo Manfredi, conductor

Youth Symphony brings a high-quality orchestral experience to some of the most talented young musicians in the Panhandle, ranging from advanced middle schoolers to college Freshmen. This group performs music selected from the standard orchestral repertoire.

The members’ rehearsal time is split between full orchestral rehearsals with conductor, Dr. Guglielmo Manfredi, and sectional coaching with Amarillo Symphony musicians and other area educators.

Rehearsals are held weekly on Sunday afternoons (through the academic year) from 2:00-4:30 p.m. at the Amarillo College Music Building, Washington campus. For specifics, please view the 2017-2018 Youth Symphony Rehearsal Schedule (link below).

Admission for all musicians is by audition only.

Member musicians are expected to be active in the school instrumental music program that coincides with their focus in ASYO. We wish to enhance, not replace, school programs. Please view the Required Signatures form (link below).

Tuition: $300 per year / $150 per semester
