As a violinist, he contributed to the Symphony’s reputation for artistic excellence, and as its business manager, he ensured its fiscal health through times of thick and thin. Eddie embodied a commitment to preserving the Amarillo Symphony’s legacy and building a future in which the Symphony sets a national standard for reach and impact. In this spirit, the Eddie Melin Society has been established to recognize and honor those who donate to the Symphony through their estate plans.
