CHAMBER MUSIC AT THE GLOBE

The Amarillo Symphony String principals join CMA Artistic Director David Palmer for a performance of chamber music at the Globe. Espen Lilleslåtten, Michelle Skinner, Christopher Lowry, and Victor Minke Huls open the season with a performance of Gabriela Frank’s Leyendas: An Andian Walkabout, which reflects life in the Andes Mountain in Argentina. Michelle Skinner and David Palmer will also come together to perform Beethoven’s sixth sonata for violin and piano. The program will close with the adventurous Brahms piano quintet in f minor.

Chamber Music Amarillo has reinstated modest health and safety measures for the foreseeable future. We strongly encourage vaccination and mask-wearing for patrons, musicians, and staff. Patrons’ seating will remain general admission and be set up to practice social distancing. We will continue to monitor the situation and update these policies as necessary.
