A special evening of strings and solo oboe, this concert will leave you reflecting on the themes of The Five Variants of Dives & Lazarus and Oboe concerto of Vaughan Williams, Adam Schoenberg’s Breath, written during Covid and deeply personal Metamorphosen by Richard Strauss. Marvel at the sonority of sound as George Jackson leads our strings in an evening of all the emotions.

A pretalk hosted by HPPR will begin at 6:45, followed by the concert at 7:30.
