AMARILLO, TEXAS – (April 13, 2016) – The Amarillo Symphony, (www.amarillosymphony.org), the leader of orchestral music in the Texas Panhandle since 1924, announces its upcoming Symphony Underground – April 23, 2016, at Canyon Exploration building on Ninth and Taylor in downtown Amarillo.
This unique and eclectic event is back! Symphony Underground will feature an encore performance by PROJECT Trio! Symphony Underground will be held in the Canyon Exploration building at Ninth and Taylor in downtown Amarillo on Saturday, April 23, 2016 from 9:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
Beth Duke, executive director of Center City of Amarillo, said, “Symphony Underground was a sold-out success in its first year. People love the event because it brings together all the great cultural elements that downtown has to offer – live music, visual arts, culinary arts and historic architecture. The historic Greyhound Bus Station at Ninth and Taylor now has a new life as Canyon Exploration Co. The unexpected setting showcases the arts with extra creativity. Center City is proud to be a part of Symphony Underground.”
