As a member of the Amarillo community since 1941 and lifelong lover of music, Eddie Melin served as one of the Amarillo Symphony’s greatest champions.
As a violinist, he contributed to the Symphony’s reputation for artistic excellence, and as its business manager, he ensured its fiscal health through times of thick and thin. Eddie embodied a commitment to preserving the Amarillo Symphony’s legacy and building a future in which the Symphony sets a national standard for reach and impact. In this spirit, the Eddie Melin Society has been established to recognize and honor those who donate to the Symphony through their estate plans.
With your planned gift to the Amarillo Symphony, you join Eddie in shaping the future of music and the arts across the Panhandle of Texas. Planned giving offers unique tax benefits that can help you realize your personal financial goals while making the gift of a lifetime to the Amarillo Symphony.
Members of the Eddie Melin Society will also enjoy exclusive access to Symphony programming and events, allowing you to celebrate the present impact you’ve made on our future. If you or a family member have made provisions for the Symphony in your estate or are interested in more information on doing so, please contact Haley Cheon at the Amarillo Symphony office at (806) 376-8782 or email@example.com.
