In the event that the Audition Committee deems that two or more candidates are artistically comparable, the Amarillo Symphony reserves the right to use information concerning an applicant’s distance from Amarillo and season availability to determine the winner of an audition. “Local” shall be defined as residing within a 120-mile radius of Amarillo TX, which includes cities such as Canyon, Hereford, Pampa, Tulia, Plainview and Lubbock.
